Software is essential for managing and processing data – if data is the fuel, software is the engine. This grassroots engagement session will identify and prioritize shared resources that can improve the quality, pace, security, cost-effectiveness, and impact of the USGS coding community’s work.
Examples:
  • Dedicated funding for administering and automating the software release process 
  • Static website hosting for software documentation 
  • Docker base images preconfigured with the DOI HTTPS Intercept certificate
